That album art is freakin’ beautiful!
YouTube is a party 24 hours a day!
If you’ve went through my older posts, you might come across the name “Tikitike” and “WhisperP”- that’s because they are the same guy. If you remember reading “The 9”, then you know that I found his music very intense- and relating heavily to Destiny, the game! He comes back with a new name and a new album, however short. And this time, it has segments from Bloodborne– I will admit that he placed these segments much better than he did in The 9.
Take note that I have not played Bloodborne yet, because of the massive failure I will endure will take all my energy, and I kind of need that for college- plus I am still on the “Scholar of the First Sin”. These games from the Soul series are awesome. Demon Souls was my worst time with these games. Dark Souls I & II were fun. Dark Souls III was recently released and I have no time to go out and buy something for $60 when I can wait a few and it go down a few notches. Also, I like to find deals on eBay- I bought 7 new PS4 games all ranging from $5 – $20. Now that’s a deal… although, I beat them all within a month!
I’m a gamer ‘til the end of days!
Name: No Dreams After Birth
Other Artists: Aerocity, bXmMusic, Hand Of Taurus, Tatchit (Illustrator)
Release Date: December 26, 2015
I actually had the pleasure to speak to WhisperP when he saw my review of The 9. I can’t tell you how excited I was- and that’s what I’m here for, to help the little Vocaloid producers out there get noticed and other such stuff! I also found out a bunch of information about the album that I will obviously share with you guys. You know, maybe I can have some interviews with smaller Vocaloid producers when I get bigger and have more time without going to college, which should be in 2 years! Gotta at least grab that Bachelor’s Degree!
- Grey Eyes
- Fear the Old Blood
- Love Lost (Demo)
- Fu-trance-anari (Blackbird Remix)
Emotion Rating: Look under the song titles in the “Detailed Review” to see Mr. Opinion Face’s emotion on the song. Plus, if there is a “Sawbat Approved” Icon, the song is top notch as mine and Sawbat’s favorite of the album- we have the same tastes.
9-10: (⋂‿⋂) – Love It!
7-8: (•‿•) – Good!
5-6: (•~•) – Meh!
3-4: (•︵•) – Disappointment!
1-2: (╥﹏╥) – It Sucks!
Emotion: (⋂‿⋂) – Love It!
Right off the starting gate we get an intense build of emotion from Maika. Only 50 seconds long, it’s filled with djent beats that will make your head bang as if being controlled by a demon! N.D.A.B. just means, No Dreams After Birth!
2) Grey Eyes
Emotion: (•‿•) – Good!
Short, but still has a massive beat!
Whisper let me know that this song is an ode to a Vocaloid producer who had committed suicide recently. His name was PowaPowaP (Shiina Mota) if you recall the news. He committed suicide (presumably) on July 23, 2015 at age 20. His last song was Please Give Me A Red Pen. Sad, but I won’t go on about it or I’ll go on forever.
Emotion: /(//•/~//•/)/ – Umm…
Well… this is awkward halfway through! As the name suggests for all you hentai lovers, it does say Futanari with “trance” in the center… Innuendo? If you don’t know, a Futanari- I’ll keep it confusing for the kiddies- is a manifestation of a ἑρμαφρόδιτος onto the perineum from birth or magical incantation!
At first, it sounds like a regular song with Maika’s screams, although a different feel of the album with actual trance style, but then we get a surprise… 1 minute worth of Futanari audio (in Japanese) action! I think Futanari video action would not go well on my website, being blocked by Google with the rating thing!
Whisper commented that this was an attempt to pull the wool over the heads (NO! this isn’t underwear) of Vocallective as a joke! He seems to like Futanari a lot. Can’t blame him, personally- what- that doesn’t have anything to do with me… heh, you’re just looking too much into it!
Not only is this song awkward, but I was in a test when my headphones went out! Here’s a video where I tell the story after the top 10 ends. Subscribe to mah YouTube channel for more if you want!
Emotion: (•‿•) – Good!
This one is much like Grey Eyes… but it has an excerpt of something- maybe Bloodborne? The lyrics are much like Grey Eyes too, about death! I mean what else would you expect? It is Deathcore in definition!
5) Fear The Old Blood
Now this is a beast of a song. Powerful, grueling, and built in such a way that any deathcore metal fan of any age would appreciate! The guitar is buffed and headbangingly riffed up, the screams of MAIKA are certainly in the “DEATH” sound category, and the segments from the game are placed just so, as to give more of a story! Plus, it’s the first song of the album over 1 minute and 30 seconds long (3 minutes and 40 seconds).
It took me awhile to figure out what the lyrics were, but then… I had to look it up online because I couldn’t stay with the words without banging my pencil to the music. I listen to a lot of these albums in class you know! The first line, is in Japanese, I think… But what I got translated was this… “Candy your sh*t is Yes also try its ass when ts when I Tel.-and more” – I obviously used Google translate! Sorry!
I still wonder if these audio snippets are copyrighted or not! Whether or not they are, it is his style… it’s unique and kinda cool in my opinion.
6) Love Lost
Emotion: (•‿•) – Good!
More to the story of the last song- I guess- we get another one of the Tikitike’s (Whisper-P) demo songs with his singing. Although it is a slow song, and he sounds a little less nasally than on The 9, basically, all he sings is “Lost in a Dream”- It’s still better than what I could do- and I’ve been practicing both singing and poetry! Here’s a little poem for ya…
There are no dreams after birth,
For they are lost!
Ye that wanders through the earth,
Take heed; your frost!
That heart you hold so dear
Locked within your chest,
Best not to open out of fear
Or find emptiness with no jest!
I’m currently working on a Chapbook- a book of poems. I’ll be releasing it on Amazon Kindle at some point. I’ve gotten around 128 poems right now- some are three pages long and a part of a series! While you’re waiting check out this Album while you’re at it! #ShamelessSelfPromo
7) Fu-trance-anari (Blackbird Remix)
Emotion: /(//•/~//•/)/ – Umm… Uh…
In the Album Review of Prophecy by Blackbird (Samuel Wright), he had a special guest in the acclaimed song SEPPUKUMA, which was WhisperP. Now, Blackbird has taken Fu-trance-anari and made it longer and with more trance… in my opinion. But really it’s just a looped over version of the Futanari action portion, but it has a bit more trance in than the original and no Maika at all!
7 out of 10
Emotion: (•‿•) – Good!
This is a very unique album!
I am in so much crap right now… I have overloaded my brain circuits, love the feedback though- it’s what drives me!
