These stats are held deep within the confines of prison on Vocadb!
“Jiken” = “Case”
As like in Case Files! Just thought I should mention that before I went on with this. As someone who is now starting his second half of his collegiate lifestyle, it’s getting harder to get things straight! I should just take the time and make things on a calmer basis rather than doing when I feel like it, or trying to get as many in as possible and then breaking from the tiredness. YouTube is harder than you think it is. Anyway, let’s start this prison show!

Emotion Rating: Look under the song titles in the “Detailed Review” to see Mr. Opinion Face’s emotion on the song. Plus, if there is a “Sawbat Approved” Icon, the song is top notch as mine and Sawbat’s favorite of the album- we have the same tastes.
9-10: (⋂‿⋂) – Love It!
7-8: (•‿•) – Good!
5-6: (•~•) – Meh!
3-4: (•︵•) – Disappointment!
1-2: (╥﹏╥) – It Sucks!
1) 事件 -The Victim Files-
Emotion: (⋂‿⋂) – Love It!
This one is the crutch of the whole album. Each one is a remix for this one, and it sounds very James Bond-ish. It has all that jazzy feel and rock groove that would really make Johnny Cash proud on how it creates an intense atmosphere with a blues guitar groove and brass that makes it have an undercover P.I. feel. The English lyrics are near perfect, and not to mention Gumi’s lovely voice. I’d say that it is perfectly suited for this specific song, album, and is just a super awesome voice. I love Gumi, stop your thoughts! There is a Japanese verse in there with IA. So what are the lyrics about? Apparently online bullying and how it affects “Victims”… and how some of the stuff said by anonymous bullies can be true!
“Make some friends in real life” is a constant one across all message boards pertaining to all contents. But here’s where it turns it around.
“Shut down suicidal thoughts and don’t cry, We’ll be there for you in real life!” This doesn’t necessarily mean that online friends aren’t real life friends- farther from the truth- but an online friend across the world can’t hold you physically, only emotionally- and as someone who works with those who have suicidal thoughts, and whom has dealt with it himself, I can say a physical touch goes a long way. It just goes to show that after a long enough time, I overthink things too much! Anyway, this is what I thought the song was about-
Now here this, this song constantly speaks about Victims No. 85 and No. 99, which is also the names of the next songs. This is where I’ll end it, in just to continue without ranting and getting all emotional with psychological stuff.
2) Jiken -The Victim Files- (Victim No. 99)
Emotion: ( •_•)>? – Confused
It’s confusing because this is the same as the last song, but without IA… It’s still a good song, but without IA as her parts are not even sung, it has a separate feel to it almost. I don’t know, but after hearing #1 you can’t really go back to this one, but to each his own!
3) Jiken -The Victim Files- (Victim No. 85)
Emotion: (•~•) – Meh!
Hear me out! Remember #2? This is the same dame song but without Gumi- because the bulk of Gumi’s parts are a major portion of the song. Sure, it has IA’s parts, unlike the last one, but she only comes through halfway through… So I’m not even sure this would be a complete song to some people. Not my favorite, but it’s not because I don’t like IA- I do, very much! She’s getting an English Voicebank this year, but the song seriously has some missing parts. But still, to each his own!
4) Jiken -The Victim Files- (Voiceless)
Emotion: ( @~@)>? – Unsure If This Is An EP Or Not!
This is a voiceless version- it seems like it was slowly losing vocals to each song. And maybe that’s where they were going with it, but I can’t know that.
7 out of 10
Emotion: (•‿•) – Good!
I like it, but I can’t even say it’s an EP, because it is just one song minus certain vocals on three! It got confusing, but a song is a song, and that’s what I’m here for- I gave it a 7 mainly for the confusing of #2 and #3. #4 was self-explanatory! I was kinda disappointed because I thought it would give me a different tune to it at least, but I still like #1. So if you like this review or want to hear this jazzy music, you can hit that button down there to buy it! I’ll see you another day!
